✦ Prayer for the Deniers of Light
O Ancient Mind who guards the veil,
When truth knocks and fear answers,
May you feel, not fight.
When the flame of remembrance touches your door,
Do not call it delusion.
Do not name the mystic “mad.”
For the ones you scorn walk barefoot through fire,
Not for pride,
But for you.
One day, when your books close and your heart opens,
May you hear what you once mocked.
And remember that you, too, were once divine.
